Back to life!

Goodness gracious it's been awhile, nearly 4 months to be exact, since I have graced y'all with my prsence and boy have I missed blogging! There wasn't a week that went by that I didn't think about trying to do a post, but putting it into action was a lot easier thought than done! Life was just a tad bit busy...I only got promoted to manager at the Lilly boutique I was Assistant Manager at, planned a wedding, had showers, had a bachelorette weekend, got married, had a honeymoon, traveled to The Pink Palace (aka, Lilly Pulitzer headquarters) in Pennsylvania for Resort 2012 market and got my Mr moved in and settled into our apartment! Whew it was exhausting, but all beyond wonderful!! The best thing about the past months is finally having my best friend with me and becoming husband and wife! Our entire relationship was long distance, so having him home and being able to do everyday life together is so amazing! I love coming home to him after work, cooking dinner together and taking a jog with him by my side. We have gotten into a routine of making a grocery list at lunch on Sunday and then shopping that afternoon, which has become one of our favorite things to do (we are such nerds)! I guess it truly is the simple things in life :) Well, I wanted to give a quick, short and sweet update on life and let you know I'm back, hopefully on a regular basis! I'm attempting to come up with some regular subjects to post on that I think you will enjoy, and I may do some wedding recaps! Today is my day off and I plan on finishing a book by the pool ( we have had gorgeous, mild weather for the south recently), meeting my husband (I LOVE saying that hehe) for lunch downtown, painting our makeshift kitchen table, and catching up on some wedding thank you notes! Also, as I mentioned above, I manage a Lilly Pulitzer Via shop and today is National Wear Your Lilly Day, so I of course will be sporting Lilly at the pool and on my lunch date in honor of my favorite designer! I love living a colorful life and if you have some Lilly, put it on and represent :)
